About Us
I am a self-taught woodworker who has enjoyed everything that the hobby has to offer for over 15 years now. I have made everything from complete custom home offices to curio cabinets, book cases, entertainment centers as well as lathe projects such as bowls, boxes, and pens. Even though I enjoyed making projects on the lathe more than anything else, I just didn't have the time to make it a primary focus due to the volume of work my cabinetry business was generating. I had created many different items on the lathe and thoroughly enjoyed everything turning wood or "lathe projects" had to offer. However, due to serious health issues, I am now disabled and can only stand or sit for an hour or 2 on any given day. Also my disability makes it impossible to lift move or carry lumber, much less completed projects. So now I have focused my woodworking passion, or "addiction", to only turn projects on the lathe in order to give myself something to do for the few hours a day I can stand. You will notice that my home page shows a few photographs of past work, and items that I can no longer make or sell. I am including these to give you an idea of how the hobby has come full circle for me. So I went from not having enough time to focus on what I enjoyed most, to now being able to take advantage of everything wood turning has to offer. The Gift Emporium is also a family run store with both my and spouse contribute to and help create and sell items. So the GIFT EMPORIUM is just that, a place that you can go and always find the perfect gift for that person who seems to have everything, or maybe even a treasure for yourself.

Shipping Policy
| All items are shipped the first business day after receipt of payment. All items with shipping address within United States have FREE shipping. |
Return Policy
Any items can be returned within 14 days after receipt for a full refund. Buyer needs to email me in advance requesting the return and will need to pay for the return shipping to me. This policy applies to all items unless the listing states that there are no returns. Typically only coins & notes aren't able to be returned.
